So you need a typeface by Julian Hansen

Nice job on this one...  We are always looking for the best typography to use in each project, and this could be a simplified solution to the problem depending in our needs. Check her portfolio too: Julian Hansen

Slim Chips by Hafsteinn Juliusson

Some fun here... I don't know if this guys are kidding or they think this could be serious. It remembers me UK show "Little britain" when fat fighters are discussing if dust is fat free (or something similar, I don't quite remember right now how it goes).

The main component of this edible food is paper... yes real PAPER, with added artificial flavor. As the bas says the new snack that is like eating air but tastier. Don't know about you but it seems fun and absurd, if this idea goes further this guys should get some award. I wasn't going to post it as I am giving propaganda by posting it but is so much fun that I couldn't resist myself.

Multiplicity Photography

I had one picture badly done this way, and I still think (I took that picture three years ago) that it could be use for a lot of purposes and with many results to be experimented.

"Multiplicity is the act of placing the same person a few times in the same photo"

Some results to be seen at Abduzeedo by design

Ron Arad AA interview and Antonioni's Mimic Tennis Players

I laugh watching this video interview of Ron Arad, what I find interesting is the AA interview and the Tennis Players from Antonioni's film Blow-Up. I didn't know that the players were AA students... Specially taking in consideration that Blow-Up is one of my favorite films of all times.

Lacoste Logos by Campana Brothers

Campana Brothers have a really outstanding approach of design and reinterpretation. The way they treated Lacoste is a fun example while it kind of test the obsession for branding, identity, icon, etc.

Another way to focus San Valentin's day

"These erotic brooches are literally torn from the pages of used trashy romance novels and repurposed into cheeky pins.  The Etsy seller, rebounddesigns, tells buyers to wear them if they dare!
I love the erotic and retro nude pin-up girl used on the card the brooch is clipped to for sale.  It's intriguing that the naughty bits of a book is covering the pin-ups naughty bits!  This etsy craft rescues books from dumpsters, yard sales and library sales to make these sexy pins.
She also makes a line of wallets and purses that re-purposes books in bad condition as well.  These sorts of second life products would make great and original Valentine's gifts that will declare your love (& desire!) for your special someone"

Man and Nature: Art in the Age of Climate Change

"This collection of work was created by American artist Kate Macdowell, who presents dead and decaying animals with anthropomorphic features--blurring the difference between man and nature in a state of destruction. Her choice to craft the pieces from porcelain helps adds a sense of fragility to the subjects."'casualty' macdowell photo'cuckoo' macdowell photo'daphne' macdowell photo'breaking' macdowell photo'mice and men'-macdowell photo'uprooted' macdowell photo
