The Aquacontour is The End of Circular Crops
I found this info by NL Architects blog:
"The Aquacontour by Gardena is a sprinkler irrigation system that allows for free-form lawns.

"The Aquacontour by Gardena is a sprinkler irrigation system that allows for free-form lawns.
Virtually any shape can be programmed without wasting water. Is the Aquacontour the beginning of a new type of land art? When can we start harvesting a Matisse or a Jean Arp? Surprisingly the new center pivot irrigation can do 90 degree corners as well. A soccer pitch can be watered from the middle circle with one single sprinkler… By creating square irrigation ‘circles’ 20% more land can be used!"
The meaning of this apart of being capable of making art is that you can irrigate the 100% of flat land without the need of a human being going around... Think of the possibilities!

Multiplicity Photography
I had one picture badly done this way, and I still think (I took that picture three years ago) that it could be use for a lot of purposes and with many results to be experimented.
"Multiplicity is the act of placing the same person a few times in the same photo"

Banksy presents The Lambeth Palace
An underground cinema inside a London Underground empty space. I heart the fact that they use sofas in front rows. Banksy is amazing.

The winner of the "Young Architecture Program", promoted by Moma in their old Queens space (the one that was in use while Moma the in central Manhattan was under alterations). And its going to be the next summer pavilion of the PS1 (like the Serpentine Gallery in London).
Even though I don't love the idea I can see why they are the finalist... It's interesting to watch, catchy.

Surreal Photos of the Italian Singer Mina
Everybody talks about the looks of people like Madonna, Lady Gaga, Rihana, etc.. By I just found these pictures of the Italian singer Mina thanks to my last.fm, and she ranges from photos that are like Italian Renaissance and go as far as 80's deep deep looks, and I freaked out!!! Also her tendency is to look kind of "from the Dark side" so it adds some mystery, she could have been basically anyones muse, especially within Dadaists and Surrealist...

Man and Nature: Art in the Age of Climate Change
"This collection of work was created by American artist Kate Macdowell, who presents dead and decaying animals with anthropomorphic features--blurring the difference between man and nature in a state of destruction. Her choice to craft the pieces from porcelain helps adds a sense of fragility to the subjects."
