Vectorial Subway Maps

The most fascinating maps are the ones made for the subway, and they are for a lot of people the basic inspiration to create diagrams. I found this web with plenty of them and you can even find them vectorial instead of pictures.

This is an example of one picture of one of the many many subways listed:

So you need a typeface by Julian Hansen

Nice job on this one...  We are always looking for the best typography to use in each project, and this could be a simplified solution to the problem depending in our needs. Check her portfolio too: Julian Hansen

The Page by Jae Kim

As you can watch on the video below this is just a prototype (semi transparent e-ink) of a newspaper e-reader. The concept seems bold and clever to me.

And I am one of those that like to think that color e-ink is the future of print (or not printed really). Sorry for the ipad, which I love (Mac lover and happy user) but for reading e-ink is superior.

The video explains the idea perfectly.

Slim Chips by Hafsteinn Juliusson

Some fun here... I don't know if this guys are kidding or they think this could be serious. It remembers me UK show "Little britain" when fat fighters are discussing if dust is fat free (or something similar, I don't quite remember right now how it goes).

The main component of this edible food is paper... yes real PAPER, with added artificial flavor. As the bas says the new snack that is like eating air but tastier. Don't know about you but it seems fun and absurd, if this idea goes further this guys should get some award. I wasn't going to post it as I am giving propaganda by posting it but is so much fun that I couldn't resist myself.

Information is Beautiful

I see this as a web you should be keeping an eye at least once in a while. Basically its information presented in complex graphics that simplified the way of understanding the information provided. Most of them really well done, graphically speaking and also the information that they provide is really useful.
I think it's called "data flow"

It would be like Visual Complexity but with worthy information to check and compare.

Body instead of devices

As one of my main obsesions with atmospheric architecture, this could be also be the future of atmospheric technology... No need to produce waist and production of high-tech devices, when you can replace then all in your body as a natural interactive screen.

Internet Censorship in China

Amazing...

Google (the hungry beast). Trying not to be Evil??

I never thought about Google this way... but it's kind of scary!

Lacoste Logos by Campana Brothers

Campana Brothers have a really outstanding approach of design and reinterpretation. The way they treated Lacoste is a fun example while it kind of test the obsession for branding, identity, icon, etc.
